La Zenia:
There are many locals bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, a pharmacy, car rentals and other
shops. The people are very friendly and are a mixture of mostly Spanish, Irish and British, having come here on holiday or even settled here to live. You will have an excellent choice of restaurants - Spanish,
Italian, Chinese, English, German and Indian. Some of the local bar have live music and children are always welcome. There
are many activities for children of all ages in the local vicinity.
Also within walking distance is the "Orihuela Costa resort". A great family
facility with restaurant, bar, tennis courts and a large swimming pool with sunloungers.

The Beach Bar At La Zenia |
The seaside town of La Zenia is ideally located within easy reach from the airports at Murcia and Alicante. If easy access
to beautiful beaches is high on your list of priorities then look no further. There are stunning Blue Flag beaches at La Zenia,
Cala Del Bosque and Cala Cecrad and excellent access to the motorway network and the coast road. La Zenia is ideally situated
for exploring the rest of the Costa Blanca, including the fascinating historical cities of Murcia, Cartagena and Alicante.The
Orihuela Costa enjoys a fantastic climate and is renowned for being one of the healthiest places on earth to live, basking
in over 300 days of sunshine every year and having an average temperature of around 20 degrees centigrade and very low rainfall.
The hottest temperatures are during July and August when it can reach 40 degrees or more, in the winter the temperature rarely
falls below 10 degrees.

A short distance away there is also a large go-cart track, a local weekly street market (Saturdays) and several commercial
centres containing many more bars and restaurants. There are many more smaller secluded beaches along this area of the coast.
